Pros and cons of LG TV Remote app for iPhone and iPad

LG TV Remote app good for

App functions flawlessly with my smart tv, however in about an hour of tv time (app open/closed as needed) its burned through 36% of my battery. iPhone 6s
I up graded to an iPhone 7 and now the app doesnt work well. I can move the cursor just fine but clicking on an item requires me to tap on my phone screen 20 or 30 times. I am guessing it has to do with the force touch? Still works just fine on my iPad 2 air.
O que houve com a camera do App? Antes as fotos eram em HD e agora ficam fora de foco. What happened to the App camera? Before the photos were in HD and now are unfocused.
Glad this app works again, not being able to find my tv was infuriating...
The update to fix the bug worked! This is a handy app, works exactly how it should and saves time and frustration from using the clicker! Thank you!
This app lets you control all smart tv options. Navigating the web is amazing with the popup keyboard. This app A+++++

Some bad moments

The app used to work on my iPhone 5 but now doesnt on my iPhone 6s. I can move the mouse pointer around the screen but tapping doesnt work.
Nice TV (2013 LA6900) but the Magic Remote has always annoyed us and now it is dying. $150 for a replacement of that same remote. Grr. So tried this app. Simply useless. Where is the pride in product?
The sensitivity of the touchpad needs to be adjusted for better outcomes. Please note that both scrolling and clicking are troublesome at the moment. Thanks for minding.
This app is terrible. Will not connect to a TV that has a wired Ethernet connection, even though the iOS device is on the same network via wifi. Stupid. Wired connections are more reliable. Why punish those of us to use a more stable connection? Developer should re-write the app and get that fixed.
Its incredible that LG calls themselves innovators but do not have the ability to make updates to there app that connects to millions of televisions. Samsung is beating you. Step your game up!
I have an OLED I bought in 2015 & the app doesnt find my tv on the scan. I even verified they were both on the same wifi (I have 3 wifi networks), and that LG Connect App was turned on. ):
